Life Time Frisco Job Description The Athletic Collegiate is seeking a Certified Elementary Teacher to join our Fall 2026 Student Athlete Academy inside Life Time Frisco . This part-time, in-person contractor role is ideal for an experienced educator who can lead a small group of elementary students with confidence, structure, care, and professionalism. We are seeking a teacher who believes deeply in children, values the individuality of each learner, and knows how to cultivate an environment where students feel known, supported, safe, and empowered to grow. Our families are seeking more than academic support alone. They are seeking a teacher who can provide strong instructional guidance within a calm, high-standard environment that thoughtfully blends education, mentorship, athletics, and student well-being. At The Athletic Collegiate, emotional health is not secondary. EQ skills, mentorship, safety, and student well-being are a priority. The ideal candidate is able to support online learning with intention, develop individualized strategies for student success, and bring each child's academic experience to life through encouragement, accountability, and meaningful instruction. This role is especially well suited for an exceptional teacher seeking a more intentional setting beyond the traditional system, where relationships matter, small-group teaching is valued, and each student is truly known. We are seeking an educator who is professional, warm, emotionally attuned, and highly capable of guiding students with both structure and care throughout the school day. Responsibilities Provide in-person academic support and guidance for elementary students throughout the school day Guide students through assigned Laurel Springs School coursework with attentiveness, encouragement, and accountability Teach and support effective learning strategies so students can remain on pace with daily assignments, organization, focus, and completion of work Offer individualized support based on student needs, strengths, and learning profiles Communicate professionally with Laurel Springs teachers and maintain a strong partnership with parents Maintain a calm, structured, positive, and safety-minded environment Foster confidence, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and strong student habits Provide mentorship and model professionalism, kindness, respect, and emotional maturity Maintain appropriate supervision of students during program hours, transitions, breaks, and athletic training support Follow all program safety expectations, incident procedures, and site protocols with consistency and professionalism Communicate professionally with program leadership regarding student progress, concerns, and support needs Contribute to a high-standard experience for students, coaches, partners, and families Qualifications Valid teaching certification required Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred Strong elementary teaching experience Excellent judgment, professionalism, and organizational ability Confidence with small-group instruction and classroom management Warm, polished, and emotionally intelligent communication with students, families, and leadership Ability to work in person in Frisco on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Must successfully pass both required background checks Fingerprinting required Preferred Experience Elementary classroom teaching Private school, microschool, homeschool, or learning pod experience Experience supporting students with individualized pacing Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction Experience with mentorship, social-emotional development, or whole-child education Position Details Part-time Contract, 1099 In person at Life Time Frisco LSS and Frisco
