Join a wonderful Tennis Teaching community at the Bellingham Training and Tennis Club in beautiful Bellingham
WA. BTTC
is an established private indoor tennis club (50+years) with 5 indoor courts. We are looking at add a Tennis Pro to our existing teaching staff to meet our increasing demand for high quality tennis programs. BTTC will provide tennis certification support if not currently certified as well as continuing education and mentoring. Job Description Provide Club Members and Guests a world class experience through teaching tennis lessons, camps, clinics, organizing activities and promoting programs. The Tennis Pro position has the following responsibilities but is not limited to the following and may change at the Tennis Director's discretion.

Job Description Provide Club Members and Guests a world class experience through teaching tennis lessons, camps, clinics, organizing activities and promoting programs. The Tennis Pro position has the following responsibilities but is not limited to the following and may change at the Tennis Director's discretion. Be the lead instructor for juniors camps, high performance junior programs, and adult clinics. Teach high-quality tennis lessons tailored to players' skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors in our private lessons, junior programs, adult programs and specialty classes. Collaborate with the Tennis Director to design and implement coaching programs and lesson curriculum that improve technique, strategy, and overall performance Provide a high level of customer service for our members and guests both on and off the court. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior on and off the court Assist with club events such as tournaments, leagues, and social gatherings to enhance member engagement Maintain a clean and safe playing environment by enforcing court rules and ensuring proper equipment use Collaborate with fitness staff to integrate tennis activities into overall wellness programs Promote and sell tennis progams, private lessons, and club events, Pro Shop Items, and stringing service. Maintain an accurate schedule in our club management system (Club Automation) for 3 months in advance. Stay up to date with industry teaching developments and incorporate them into teaching. Requirements Proven experience teaching tennis at various skill levels; RSPA or PTR certification preferred. Certification support and mentoring from BTTC is available. High School Diploma Tennis Player with 4.5+ NTRP rating (preferred) Professional Tennis Teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred Computer knowledge of Club Automation or ability to learn quickly Strong background in sports coaching, physical education, or related fields Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse groups and ages of students Join us to make a positive impact through sport!
