Bakery Clerk

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting baked goods, cakes, and other bakery items, offering product recommendations and upselling when appropriate Prepare and package bakery products efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Restock bakery displays regularly (pulling from our freezer) to ensure freshness and visual appeal, including baking items as needed Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment upkeep Support food preparation tasks such as slicing bread or preparing specialty items in accordance with safety guidelines Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety Requirements Previous experience in food service, retail grocery, or quick service/fast food restaurant environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic knowledge of sanitation practices and food handling regulations Experience working in a bakery, café, or grocery store is an asset but not required; training will be provided Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting bakery supplies or standing behind the counter Join us as a Bakery Clerk and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering quality products and memorable customer experiences.
