Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, piping, glazing, and assembling desserts to meet specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to strict food safety standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that excite our guests. Handle customer service interactions professionally when presenting or explaining pastry offerings to patrons or clients. Requirements Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio showcasing cake decorating, baking, and food presentation skills. Demonstrated expertise in food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant environment. Skilled in food preparation techniques including knife skills, baking methods, and culinary craftsmanship. Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards in a busy kitchen setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
