Full-Time Baker — Opening Team Pinecone Bakeshop | Alhambra, CA Pinecone is a small, from-scratch bakeshop and coffee shop focused on fruit tarts, cakes, and a thoughtful coffee program. We work closely with seasonal farmers market fruit and make everything in-house. We're currently hiring full-time bakers to join our opening team. This is an opportunity to be part of building a kitchen from the ground up. The work is detail-oriented, hands-on, and fast-paced, especially as we move through opening. What you'll be doing: Preparing and assembling fruit tarts, cakes, and other baked goods from scratch Working with fresh, seasonal fruit and delicate components Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the day Supporting the team during production and service Following recipes and systems while we continue to refine and standardize operations What we're looking for: Passion for baking and working with high-quality ingredients Strong sense of urgency and ability to stay organized under pressure Attention to detail and consistency in execution Team-oriented mindset and clear communication Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow with the team Experience is a plus (1+ year preferred), but not required. We're open to training the right person with a strong attitude and work ethic.

Schedule & Availability:

Full-time preferred Daytime shifts Weekend availability required

Compensation:

$20-24/hour, depending on experience Tips are pooled across the team (shared between front and back of house) Paid training period
