The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in baking and food production. In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting high-quality baked goods that bring joy to our customers. A strong understanding of food safety and handling is essential to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Training will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Requirements:

Baking and cake decorating experience is required (either has baked at home or professionally). Must have interest in baking and ability to read recipes and convert measurements accurately. Must have experience operating baking equipment such as ovens and stand mixers. Must have a Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to get one.

Responsibilities:

Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked items. Stack and ice cakes evenly, preparing them for decorators. Decorate cakes and baked goods with attention to detail and presentation. Monitor and help maintain inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep your station, shared spaces, and the entire bakery clean and well-organized. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. The role involves prolonged periods of standing, lifting heavy boxes and ingredient bags, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive movements. Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of baking and decorating tasks. Collaborate with fellow bakers to maintain a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented environment. Assist with additional baking and decorating tasks as needed.
