make dogs (and their humans) happy, one treat at a time. About the Role We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Baker / Bakery Assistant to join our kitchen team. This role supports daily production by preparing doughs and batters, baking treats, decorating cakes, maintaining a spotless workspace, and assisting with packaging. This role can be worked Days, evening, nights, or weekends. If you love dogs, enjoy creative baking projects, and thrive in an organized environment, this is the perfect spot for you. Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and decorate dog treats, cookies, and cakes following established recipes Measure, mix, portion, and monitor ingredients and baking times Keep the kitchen organized, sanitary, and compliant with food safety guidelines Package and label finished products with accuracy and care Help manage inventory, restock supplies, and prep ingredients Assist with custom cake orders and seasonal bakery projects Work efficiently to meet daily production goals Requirements Experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production setting preferred (not required) Ability to follow recipes with strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Positive attitude with a collaborative mindset — we're a small team!
