Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing bagels and a variety of baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide range of bagels and baked goods such as pastries, and desserts
• Follow recipes and production schedules to meet customer demands
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust recipes as needed
• Decorate pastries and desserts to enhance their appearance
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Baker in a restaurant or culinary environment
• Knowledge of food industry best practices and techniques
• Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and mixers
• Familiarity with pastry and dessert preparation
• Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Understanding of food safety regulations

Preferred Skills:

• Culinary degree or certification is a plus
• Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry shop
