Full-time Description Our Fairfax Store is seeking an experienced Bread Baker We are seeking someone with at least one year professional experience baking artisan bread. If you are passionate about baking the finest quality bread with the best organic ingredients this is a great opportunity. This is a great opportunity to showcase your baking skills and support the community's health and pleasure through hand-shaped organic wholegrain bread. This position is 36-40 hours per week, PM shifts, and includes one weekend day. Responsibilities Mix and bake off all Good Earth in-house hand-shaped artisan bread Maintain consistency with current recipes; support the creation of new wholesome successful products Work with standard and alternative grains Be able to properly and safely operate Hobart mixer Load breads into oven Safety and sanitation at the highest level Qualifications One year minimum professional bread baking experience Basic to strong culinary/baking experience Must have knowledge or interest in natural and organic food English fluency required, Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Ability to take direction gracefully, partner well, be flexible, and contribute to a positive work environment Benefits For our Full-Time Employees, we offer: Quarterly Profit Share Bonuses Medical, dental and vision plans Paid Vacation and Sick Time 30% storewide discount, 50% discount on made to order Takeout food and drink 401k benefit with employer match
