Responsibilities Support the kitchen team in food preparation, including baking, pastry making, and cooking tasks. Assist with cake decorating, ensuring each design meets quality standards and customer specifications. Handle packaging of baked goods with care, maintaining presentation and freshness. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Help with food handling processes, including measuring ingredients and managing inventory levels. Contribute to food production by following recipes accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with special orders when needed. Skills Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards. Skilled in food preparation techniques including cooking, pastry making, and knife skills. Experience in packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes. Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in food production environments. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
