The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious cakes, with experience in food preparation and decorating techniques. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry in a fast-paced food production environment, contributing to memorable celebrations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications, utilizing cake decorating skills and culinary techniques Prepare and assemble cakes, including layering, icing, and applying decorative elements such as fondant, piping, and edible embellishments Package finished products carefully to ensure quality presentation and safe delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks related to baking, pastry production, and other bakery items Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety guidelines Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with special requests or custom orders when needed Qualifications Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting Strong skills in cake decorating techniques such as piping, fondant work, and intricate designs Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience in food preparation, packaging, and general kitchen operations preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools used in cake decoration and baking Background in catering or restaurant experience is a plus Passion for culinary arts with a creative eye for design and presentation Prior experience in food production or kitchen environments is desirable Basic understanding of Spanish in relation to the work setting Join our team to craft beautiful cakes that delight our customers!
