Cake Decorator & Baker Required:

1+ year of professional baking and decorating experience (cakes, cupcakes, cookies) Ability to speak, read, and write in English clearly Experience with buttercreams, curds, piping, and cake decorating techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Availability for weekday and weekend shifts , including early mornings and closing shifts Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Must be 18 years or older

Preferred:

Pastry degree or certificate ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Experience in a retail or customer-facing bakery environment Responsibilities - Cake Decorator & Baker Bake, decorate, and finish cupcakes, cakes, and cookies according to daily production needs Execute piping, frosting, and finishing techniques to meet company quality standards Follow production schedules to ensure timely and consistent output Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen, and storage areas Support inventory management, restocking, and quality control processes Assist with customer orders, including in-store and phone orders as needed Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and customers Support training of new and existing staff as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general bakery operations Benefits & Perks 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Employee and store discounts Referral program Bereavement leave Opportunities for advancement About Kara's Cupcakes, Inc.
