The Palo Alto Creamery, Fountain & Grill is a Palo Alto landmark serving generations since 1923 and features American classics prepared from scratch in a retro diner ambiance. Scratch, located on cosmopolitan Castro Street in Mountain View. Scratch features American cookery in an elegant setting. The cuisine is based on the premise of "simple food done well" and draws from American classics reflecting today's influences and bounty of ingredients. The popular horseshoe bar features a variety of American whiskey and wines, some of which are highly allocated and unique. The British Banker's Club is a contemporary tavern with an eclectic menu, diverse spirits and beverage list and features patio, roof top, and private dining. Reposado features Mexican cuisine prepared and presented using traditional techniques with the knowledge and passion of today. The food, decor, and service are representative of a modern restaurant in the heart of Mexico City today.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily production of breads, pastries, and desserts
- Must be able to manage mulitple tasks simultaneously
- Ensure safety and sanitation, and general maintenance of facilities.
Candidates should have:
- Minimum of 2 years baking experience.
- Certification, AOS or equivalent in culinary a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Valid food handlers card All kitchen positions require ability to maneuver around all areas of the restaurant and stairways, stand for periods for up to 4 hours, work in close quarters in a warm kitchen, bend, scoop, reach, push and pull, and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
