Sweet Red Peach in Santa Clarita is hiring an experienced baker for immediate start. Candidates must have prior paid experience in a restaurant or bakery and strong hands-on experience baking from scratch, including making frostings, fillings, and custards. This role requires someone who can follow recipes exactly, maintain consistency and work independently with attention to detail. Reliability and professionalism are essential, and candidates must have open availability to work the schedule needed by the business. A paid trial/evaluation shift will be required. Duties Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, and confections with attention to detail Handle food packaging efficiently to ensure freshness and presentation quality Assist in food production processes, including mixing, baking, and assembling baked goods Support food preparation tasks for various catering or restaurant events Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of production Use knife skills expertly for slicing, carving, and decorating baked items Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and hygiene standards Hands-on experience with food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques Excellent customer service skills to engage with clients or guests when needed Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with kitchen experience in the food industry Familiarity with culinary tools, including knives and baking equipment Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is highly desirable Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation
