Full Job Description Overview:

Do you have experience crafting beautifully decorated cakes and desserts? Nugget Markets is looking for someone who takes pride in the details and has experience producing a large number of cakes/desserts in a retail setting to join our talented team of cake decorators. This position requires travel to the following locations: Davis, West Sacramento, Sacramento - Florin Rd, Elk Grove, Roseville. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Responsibilities:

Our cake decorator's primary responsibilities are to support the bakery in stocking our case with an abundance of fresh, beautiful, high-quality products while providing world-class service to our guests. They will prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed; mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings; apply finishing work to cakes; take guest orders by phone and in-person; and assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.

Qualifications:

You should meet the following requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to read and write in English An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage A positive attitude is essential!
