We are excited to announce the opening of our New Britain location. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and passionate individuals to join our grand opening team next month. This role involves preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of baked goods, sandwiches and cakes with precision and artistic flair. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry arts, food safety, and delivering high-quality products that delight our customers. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, sandwich following established recipes and quality standards. Decorate pastries and desserts with intricate designs, frosting, and edible decorations to meet customer specifications. Package finished products carefully for presentation and sale, ensuring freshness and visual appeal. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various baked items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and decorating tools. Ensure all products meet quality standards before presentation or delivery to customers or display areas. Support the team during catering events or special orders as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is mandatory Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes. Familiarity with food production processes within a bakery or restaurant setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in the food industry or catering is preferred but not required. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively
Shifts:
Early Morning Start (Starting at 5:00 AM). Experienced Bakers Preferred•
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
