Must be dependable and comfortable working independently in the early morning hours. Job Summary The Haven Café is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cafe Baker & Production Prep team member to support early morning production. This role includes baking fresh café items, preparing pizza dough, producing cold creams, matcha batches, and house-made syrups, and assisting with catering order production. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, takes pride in consistency, and works efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. Responsibilities Prepare and bake café items including muffins, cookies, breads, bars, and seasonal baked goods Prepare and portion pizza dough for daily service for The Haven Speakeasy Produce café components including cold creams, cold foams, matcha batches, and house-made syrups Package baked goods for display and take-out Assist with catering order production, including large-batch baking and prep Assist with light food preparation once the café opens Maintain clean and organized workstations Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Qualifications Previous baking, prep, or café kitchen experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent early morning schedule Opportunity to grow with The Haven Café Supportive, team-focused work environment
