This is a fast-growing Consumer Packaged Goods business distributing regionally and soon nationally to vendors such as Giant and Wholefoods. The company will be expanding presence in various locations and participates in pop events and festivals to sell our full range of baked goods. We offer baking therapy classes for trauma survivors and partner with nonprofit organizations to roll out various training programs and workshops. Our goal is employee retention, and we provide opportunities for promotion within the company based on performance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who sees in this role great personal learning and skill development. We are looking to take on an experienced Supervisor to help us keep growing. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead, mentor, inspire, and motivate diverse team, creating a positive work environment. Write weekly schedules to meet demands of business. Ensure production compliance with the food safety and quality procedures and policies, maintaining highest standards of cleanliness. Maintain appropriate records in accordance with GMP. Ensure highest quality and excellence. Current on culinary and baking trends and drive creativity. Development of standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, efficient and high-quality service. Maintain equipment in working order. Conduct weekly inventory and manage inventory to meet production needs. Order ingredients and supplies to meet production needs in line with budget. Participate in catering events, baking classes, pop up events and markets, vendor and trade shows, and meetings. Provide stellar customer service, operate POS, and address customer inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts or related culinary field. 3 years experience in hospitality management. Proven experience and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak business hours. Demonstrate knowledge of standard baking principles, creativity, and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Spanish Speaking a plus
