This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your baking skills while contributing to a dynamic food industry environment. Baker shifts are mandatory 6am-1pm. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and pastries following established recipes and quality standards Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, kneading, shaping, and proofing doughs with skillful knife techniques Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment sanitation and organization of supplies Qualifications Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; cake decorating experience is a plus Reliable transportation Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques Prior kitchen or restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment preferred Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Customer service skills to engage positively with colleagues and clients when needed Familiarity with food industry standards related to catering, food preparation, and packaging Embark on a rewarding journey in the world of baking where your skills will flourish!
