The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a keen eye for detail, particularly in cake decorating and food presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision to meet customer specifications. Package finished products for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and securely. Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to comply with food safety standards. Handle food products safely, adhering to all food handling regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of orders. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Skills Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry production is highly desirable. Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques and food preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation. Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
