Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty items with precision and flair Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques to meet quality standards and customer expectations Package baked products efficiently while maintaining freshness and presentation standards Follow food production schedules to ensure timely availability of products for store or café display Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering strictly to food safety protocols Assist in inventory management by rotating stock, monitoring ingredient levels, and ordering supplies as needed Support food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling baked goods for display or sale Requirements Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; cake decorating skills are highly valued Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices Ability to operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients Experience with food packaging, presentation, and catering is a plus Customer service skills to engage positively with team members and support overall store operations Flexible availability during overnight hours to meet production demands in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about creating mouthwatering baked goods that delight customers!
