This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious baked goods, develop your pastry skills, and contribute to a vibrant food environment. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and care Decorate cakes and pastries using cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with industry regulations Maintain cleanliness of the baking area, tools, and equipment throughout shifts Support catering events by preparing baked goods and assisting with setup as needed Skills Proven pastry experience with strong cake decorating skills Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation practices Experience in food production, preparation, and baking within a fast-paced environment Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of ingredients Ability to operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools confidently Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation excellence Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required Must be able to follow recipes precisely Join us at Food Glorious Food where your baking talents can shine!
