ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

(including but not limited to):

Baking Production :

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes and catering requirements.

Recipe Adherence :

Follow standardized recipes and adjust ingredient measurements as necessary to meet quality and quantity standards.

Presentation :

Ensure baked goods are visually appealing and consistent in size, shape, and presentation.

Inventory Management :

Monitor and manage inventory levels of baking ingredients; report shortages and assist with restocking supplies.

Quality Control :

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established standards for quality and taste.

Equipment Maintenance :

Operate and maintain bakery equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Report any equipment issues promptly.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with chefs, catering coordinators, and other kitchen staff to align baking production with event schedules and menu planning.

Compliance :

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

: Proven experience as a baker in a commercial or catering environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creativity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality products. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients or equipment. Certification in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts is preferred. Must possess or successfully complete safe food handling course prior to first day.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
