This role requires precision, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure each product meets the bakery's quality and presentation expectations. Key Responsibilities Decorate cakes, entremets, and pastries using buttercream, ganache, glaze, and fondant Apply mirror glaze, piping, chocolate décor, and modern pastry finishes Assemble and finish layered cakes with clean, professional presentation Prepare custom cakes for birthdays, weddings, and special events Assist with filling, icing, and basic cake production Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation Follow food safety and sanitation standards Support the pastry team with daily production as needed Required Skills and Qualifications Experience in cake decorating or pastry preferred Knowledge of buttercream, ganache, and basic decorating techniques Strong attention to detail and artistic ability Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good teamwork and communication skills Reliable and punctual Preferred Qualifications Experience in a French bakery (but not required) Knowledge of entremets, mirror glaze, and chocolate decoration Passion for pastry and high-quality presentation Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
