Bakery Associate

Company Description Marconi Baking Company is a family owned, wholesale bread bakery located in Chicago Heights, IL and servicing the Chicagoland area for over 100 years. We specialize in Italian, French, American, and other bread products, along with our specialized Italian biscotti. We bake our bread using generations of familial tradition and Italian culture, and are passionate about providing quality products from fresh, whole ingredients. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Baking Associate to join our team of Bakers. In this role, you will be working with our two experienced Bakers, and associates, throughout the full baking process of our bread products- including handling ingredients and dough, panning products, proofing, baking, slicing, and packaging.

Requirements:

Ability to listen and follow instructions / recipes, with the goal to learn and repeat our processes Attention to detail Efficiency in daily duties Ability to work with hands and on feet Maintain food safety and quality standards Communication and work well with team members Safely operate bakery appliances (mixers, distributors, ovens, etc.) Ability to stand for extended periods of time Prioritizing cleanliness and attention to detail

Schedule:

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6-8 hours/day
