Our mission is to bring authentic French baking into everyday life. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in our craft. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baking techniques, producing high-quality breads consistently. Responsibilities You will be responsible for preparing dough, monitoring baking processes, decorating, and maintaining a clean, efficient workstation. Measure, mix, knead, shape, and bake breads following established recipes. Assess raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency and quality standards. Monitor ingredient inventory and equipment, including ovens, mixers, and freezers, performing cleaning and basic maintenance. Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking. Shape dough to prepare different types of breads and croissants. Requirements & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a Baker or similar role. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and sanitation practices. Experience in bread baking is a must. Knowledge of lamination and previous use of bakery equipment preferred. Certification from a culinary school is a plus. Food Manager Certificate required. Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and dough sheeters. Understanding of food safety practices. Ability to remain calm and focused in a hot, fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Stamina for long periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy items (50+ lbs). Key Competencies Attention to detail. Ability to follow recipes. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Teamwork and communication skills.
Schedule:
7 PM - 6 AM, 8-hour rotating shift 5 days a week
