is a specialty coffee and bagel shop opening in Manhattan, KS this July. We roast in-house, we build with intention, and our food program is part of the experience, not an afterthought. We're looking for a baker who takes their work seriously. Someone with real skill, a clean and efficient approach, and genuine pride in what they produce. This role is part-time and does require early mornings. What you'll be doing: Preparing baked goods for daily service: fresh, consistent, on schedule Following recipes with precision while bringing your own skill to the execution Managing prep, timing, and output to meet daily volume needs Keeping your workspace and surrounding areas to the highest cleanliness and food safety standards (no exceptions) Communicating proactively with ownership about inventory, supply needs, and production as needed What we're looking for: Experience in a bakery, café, or food production environment Strong foundational baking skills: you know your way around a recipe and a kitchen A genuine team player — someone who shows up, follows through, and doesn't leave people hanging High attention to detail: in your product, in your workspace, and in how you operate day to day A good person: reliable, accountable, and someone your team can actually count on Reliable, early-morning availability (this is a before-open role) Food handler certification or willingness to obtain before starting What we offer: Part-time to start with potential for expanded hours as we grow A locally owned, community-rooted shop being built from the ground up A role where quality is actually recognized and valued The chance to be part of something new in Manhattan Hourly pay + tips To apply: Apply at bandidascoffeeco.com/careers OR submit your resume and answer the screening questions.
