Job Description
Overview:
This is a dayshift position that requires weekends. Your days off will be Sunday and Mondays. On some occasions you may be asked to work your days off due to an events. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious baked goods. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure accurate measurements of ingredients
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and attention to detail
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production
- Package baked goods for display or delivery
Skills:
- Proficient in using knives and other baking tools
- Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques
- Ability to bake a variety of products from scratch
- Experience in food production within a restaurant or catering setting
- Familiarity with pastry techniques and recipes
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and decorating
