Overview Join our vibrant bakery team as a Gluten Free Baker, where your passion for baking meets the exciting challenge of creating delicious, high-quality gluten-free baked goods. In this role, you will craft a variety of gluten-free breads, pastries, and desserts that delight our customers and meet strict food safety standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional products that cater to dietary needs while maintaining the highest standards of food handling and presentation. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of gluten-free baked goods, including bread, cakes, muffins, and pastries, ensuring consistency and quality. Decorate cakes and desserts with creative flair using various cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal. Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders, maintaining freshness and presentation standards. Assist in food production processes, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and managing baking schedules to meet customer demand. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle customer service interactions by providing product information and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Support kitchen operations by practicing safe food handling, knife skills, and proper sanitation procedures during food preparation. Requirements Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; prior bakery or restaurant experience is preferred. Strong skills in cake decorating, food presentation, and packaging techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices within a commercial kitchen environment. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. Passion for gluten-free baking and culinary innovation; previous experience in the food industry or catering is a plus.
