This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about baking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both creativity and structure. We are a from-scratch bakery specializing in custom cakes, signature desserts, and high-quality pastries. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the kitchen while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities Lead daily kitchen operations from prep to production Bake cakes, cupcakes, and pastries from scratch Fill, frost, and decorate cakes (buttercream work required) Execute custom cake designs with attention to detail Prepare fillings, syrups, and components for production Maintain organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards Manage inventory and communicate supply needs Support workflow planning and ensure timely order completion Assist with training and guiding kitchen staff as needed Qualifications Experience in a bakery or professional kitchen (cake decorating experience preferred) Strong skills in buttercream frosting and cake assembly Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Passion for from-scratch baking and high-quality products Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Team player with leadership mindset What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in their work and treats the kitchen like their own A balance of creativity (design/decorating) and efficiency (production) A positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to maintain consistency across all products Position Details Full-time position
