Are you a self-driven, creative individual who takes pride in their craft? We are looking for YOU to join us at our new bakery in Salem, MA. This is a full-time position with great growth opportunities. As a bakery/pastry chef you will work as part of a team to produce the highest quality products. Have the skills and ability as a baker to: Make base doughs such as laminated, brioche, muffin/scone, pie/tart etc) Making & assembling cakes Shaping breads & bagels Making & decorating donuts Making frostings & glazings Be able to consistently follow recipes and scale up or down as needed while noticing issues/mistakes Stove-top production Oven production Cleaning & closing kitchen Lifting up to 60lbs Operate commercial size mixers, dishwasher, sheeter and ovens. Ask for help or direction when needed Troubleshoot quickly and calmly Work in an organized and clean manner Be able to stay active and handle the physical requirements of the job
