Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of cookiesand baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards and consistent presentation. Decorate cookies with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings to create visually appealing treats. Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer takeout, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Assist customers at the counter with friendly service, answering questions about products and taking orders accurately. Handle cash register operations efficiently, including processing transactions and giving correct change. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Experience Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or food preparation is highly preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus. Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and food packaging processes enhances your ability to excel in this role. Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude to engage guests enthusiastically. Knowledge of food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Experience working in food industry settings such as bakeries, cafes, restaurants, or catering environments is advantageous.
