Bakery Clerk and Baker

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk/Baker to join our team. This role combines customer service and hands-on baking responsibilities. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers Package, label, and display baked goods in an attractive manner Operate cash register and process transactions accurately Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Decorate baked goods as needed Monitor oven temperatures and ensure proper baking times Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Restock ingredients and assist with inventory as needed Support opening and closing bakery procedures Qualifications Previous bakery, food service, or customer service experience preferred Basic knowledge of baking techniques is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Benefits (Optional - customize if applicable) Employee discount Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and advancement Paid training
