Job description: ACK F&B Bakery in Bethesda is seeking enthusiastic and responsible team members to join our growing family! Available shift is from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM . Previous experience is helpful but not mandatory — we welcome anyone with a passion for delivering quality products and excellent customer service. Cake Decorator 1 - Finisher - Starting at $16 / hr Core Responsibilities Ice and finish standard cakes per the company receipe Apply pre-made decorations (fruit, chocolate plaques, standard piping) Maintain cake case display — replenish, rotate, label Box and label cakes for whole-cake sales and pre-orders Clean and sanitize decorating station and tools Stock raw materials (fondant, fruit, cream) Qualifications 0-1 year cake decorating or related food prep experience Steady hands, eye for visual symmetry Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days) Ability to follow precise visual specifications Basic English literacy for spec sheets and labels Comfortable on feet 7+ hours Tier 2: Cake Decorator II — Custom — $18.00-$21.50/hr Core Responsibilities Execute custom cake orders — lettering, character drawings, color matching Handle pre-order pipeline for birthdays, weddings, corporate orders Train and quality-check Cake Decorator I work Communicate with customers for custom design clarification (phone/in-person) Track cake PAR and waste Backup for cake case stocking and FOH display merchandising Qualifications 1-3 years cake decorating experience Portfolio of custom cake work (photo evidence) Food Handler Certification (required) Strong English for customer interaction Familiarity with seasonal/holiday cake programs
