This position would be full-time and include customer service, taking orders, answering the phone, making coffee drinks & sandwiches, and assisting with custom cake making. This position would entail 4-5 shifts per week, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30am to 6:30pm (Friday and Saturday availability is a must, they are our busiest days). Reliability, a great customer service manner, great communication, and a good attitude are the most important hiring criteria, and the ideal candidate would have service experience and knowledge of gluten-free and/or vegan diets. We are a small local shop that is totally gluten-free and specializes in other healthier, allergy-friendly baked goods, so The Red Bandana is a place where you can be creative, love your clients and your work, and feel good about what you're doing! Come enjoy our great locally sourced coffee, young fun coworkers, flexible hours and great creative and supportive work environment :) Responsibilities and Duties Providing exceptional and prompt customer service, running a cash register, maintaining sanitation standards, making and serving coffee drinks and breakfast foods, communicating well with other team members, going above and beyond answering the phone, greeting walk-in customers, and taking and keeping track of custom orders. Qualifications and Skills A friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful customer service manner is the most important qualification for this job. Experience working at a cafe or bakery, especially managing one would also be a plus. Reliability, trustworthiness, a positive attitude and a pleasant manner with customers and fellow employees are crucial.
