Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food production processes for catering events or restaurant service, ensuring timely delivery of fresh products. Use knife skills effectively for slicing, carving, and preparing ingredients for various culinary creations. Support food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items while maintaining consistency. Qualifications Experience in pastry and baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting. Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and kitchen sanitation practices. Demonstrated culinary experience including cooking, food preparation, and food industry operations. Excellent knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools safely and efficiently. Background in food safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary credentials upon hire. Prior experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
