Baker / Decorator

Overview Join our dynamic team as a full time Baker / Decorator! This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about baking and have experience in decorating. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for baking and decorating our signature items to restock the front cooler and display case daily. Responsibilities Availability to arrive before opening hours to prepare morning baked goods Create quality baked goods efficiently and consistently while using established recipes and techniques Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in food quality Operating commercial baking equipment, including mixers and ovens Maintain cleanliness and organization of station in compliance with food safety standards Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers according to safety protocols Assist team in daily dishes and clean up Skills Ability to follow recipes accurately with the understanding of baker's math and formula conversions Knowledge of baking techniques Knowledge of cake techniques including filling, frosting, decorating, and writing Prior cake and cookie decorating experience is preferred Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 50 lbs. (if necessary) Ability to multitask Ability to both independently and well with others Commitment to food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures We are a small business with a big passion for food! Pay:

$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
