Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling baked goods according to established recipes and standards Support the baking process by mixing, measuring, and monitoring oven temperatures to ensure quality results Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, toppings, and other creative embellishments to meet customer specifications Package baked items efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and baking equipment in compliance with health regulations Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Contribute to food production tasks such as portioning, filling, and finishing baked goods for display or sale Skills Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation with a strong understanding of baking techniques Skilled in cake decorating and creative presentation of baked goods Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and packaging tools safely and effectively Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and ingredient preparation Experience in food industry environments like bakeries or restaurants is highly desirable Strong customer service skills to assist customers with product inquiries or special requests Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with food production processes including catering or restaurant experience is a plus Join us to bring joy through baking!
