Job Description

TITLE Baker- The Buffet
DESCRIPTION
Ability to produce quality baked goods and provide friendly and courteous service to guests. Must be able produce large batch food orders in a commercial kitchen. Must have extensive food and ingredient knowledge, including that of special diets and food allergies. Must have a demonstrated ability to operate most commercial kitchen equipment. Must possess culinary skills such as patisserie, pulled sugar, chocolates, confections, baking, and cake decorating, including the ability to follow a recipe or other specification. Must possess basic food and ingredient knowledge, including special diets and food allergies
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent and two to three years of previous experience working in a bakery (private industry, military, institutional, banquet or casino). Ability to pipe and decorate cakes, prioritize, organize, multi-task, perform under extreme pressure and possess people and time management skills.
