Job Description

Big Timber Bakery is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to add to our team. If you enjoy baking, this is for you! We offer a friendly, family-oriented environment with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries and cookies
  • Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools
  • Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Package finished products for display or delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in the food industry
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration
  • Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
