Looking for a friendly, motivated,hard-working, compassionate creative Baker who is excited about baking, Ready to grow and thrive with a small business bakery that has been featured in the New York times, Times out magazine and known for making the best Meat patties in Brooklyn NY. After relocating from New York city to Rocky mount the owners of this bakery are looking to restart the same model at this brand new location to open in May 2023 downtown Rocky Mount. Roll out and cut Puff Pastries into squares and fill with meat and vegetable fillings Bake fresh bread and pastries the cafe needs each day Prepare made to order sandwiches during business hours Make and decorate 3- 5 cakes as needed Make production bake goods for both retail and wholesale purposes. Maintain a high standard for flavor and quality, using 100% real ingredients. Perform stocking, food prep, cleaning, and sanitation tasks as needed Step in and support your manager and team. This job is for you if: You love baking, even if you're a beginner. (4 weeks of training provided) You enjoy both working alone and with a team. You're a self-starter who can meet goals with limited supervision. You like the hospitality industry. You have excellent organizational and time-management skills. You want to partner with a fun, energized team that can work hard and laugh often. You're committed to food safety and health safety. You are at least 18 years of age. You're passionate about quality and value great customer service and professionalism
