Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting baked goods, ensuring a positive shopping experience Prepare and package bakery items according to quality standards and food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area, including food handling, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces Restock shelves with fresh products, monitor inventory levels, and organize displays to maximize sales potential through upselling techniques Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are met at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing bread or assembling bakery orders while adhering to health regulations Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service, retail, or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
