Responsibilities Prepare and bake fresh bagels daily, following established recipes and quality standards Mix, knead, shape, and boil dough with precision and care Decorate baked goods with icing, toppings, or other embellishments as needed for presentation and customer appeal Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining food safety standards Assist with food production tasks such as ingredient measurement, dough handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold safety regulations Support the team in catering events or special orders by preparing baked goods according to specifications Experience Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary environments is highly preferred Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and food presentation skills is a plus Hands-on experience with food preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation Background in food industry roles such as restaurant work or catering enhances your suitability for this position Strong knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques are desirable Customer service experience is beneficial for engaging with patrons and ensuring satisfaction Knowledge of packaging methods and food handling regulations ensures quality control and safety compliance Portfolio of baked goods, resume and references highly preferred
