Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity Decorate cakes and confections using piping, fondant, and other decorating techniques to meet customer specifications Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Package finished products carefully to ensure freshness and presentation quality for retail or catering purposes Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Support the team during catering events or restaurant service by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of orders Maintain accurate records of food handling procedures, inventory levels, and product quality checks Skills Extensive experience in cake decorating, baking, and pastry arts with an eye for detail Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices Proficiency in food preparation techniques including cooking, packaging, and portioning Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and garnishing tasks Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Customer service skills to engage positively with clients or team members when needed Prior experience in food production within the food industry or restaurant settings is highly desirable Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary creativity to life!
