Responsibilities Decorate cakes and pastries with intricate designs, themes, and personalized touches using various techniques and tools Prepare cakes for display or sale by applying frosting, fondant, piping, and other decorative elements Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for appearance, taste, and freshness before presentation or sale Handle food production tasks including mixing, baking, portioning, and packaging baked items efficiently and safely Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent service to enhance their experience Support the kitchen team with food handling, preparation, and packaging as needed for catering or retail purposes Experience Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or culinary arts within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment Strong skills in food handling, baking techniques, knife work, and food safety practices Familiarity with food industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene Previous experience in customer service roles within the food industry is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation processes including cooking, food production, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in decorating and food presentation Join us to craft beautiful cakes that create joy!
