!? We're hiring a Baker or Assistant Baker to join our high-energy team at our dessert shop's production kitchen in Bound Brook! About the

Role:

In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, you'll be baking and decorating a wide variety of desserts, including: Cakes Cupcakes Ice cream cakes House-made ice cream Specialty dessert bars French macarons Gourmet cookies Decorated cookies Brownies This position is hands-on and detail-oriented, and you'll need to work with urgency to meet daily production goals. Knowledge of French macarons is a plus—but if you're eager to learn, we'll train you in our methods! Decorator? Even Better! If you have decorating skills, especially with cupcakes, cookies, or macarons, that's a huge bonus! Feel free to send us a portfolio of your work—we'd love to see it.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow recipes accurately; measure, weigh, and prep ingredients Operate mixers, ovens, and baking equipment safely and efficiently Fill, frost, and decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and macarons Prepare and build ice cream cakes Maintain clean and organized workspaces and equipment Monitor product quality and presentation Assist with ingredient inventory, ordering, and receiving Collaborate on new recipe development Work until tasks are complete—even if it occasionally goes past your shift

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Prior commercial baking or culinary school experience required Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs Strong sense of urgency and time management Comfortable working in a team and independently Familiarity with health & safety/sanitation procedures A positive attitude, willingness to learn, reliable, and strong work ethic Sound like a sweet fit?
