Must be available Monday thru Saturday and able to work during the hours of 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Baker assistant-Part Time We are searching for a baker's assistant who strives to provide excellent baked items and service in an efficient, professional manner. The baker's assistant will execute and understand recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products. They should be organized, decisive, attentive, communicative, and possess a strong understanding of baking techniques. Baker's assistant
Responsibilities:
Read, follow, and understand recipes. Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods Decorating and displaying the finished product Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared Dishwashing Baker's assistant
Requirements:
Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products and following recipes. Basic math and computer skills Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods Ability to work in a warm, face-paced environment. Stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods. Ability to demonstrate integrity and honesty in all dealings Focus on customer and employee safety Must work well with others, and have a professional demeanor Must be punctual and have a track record of solid attendance. Starting pay will be based on experience and tips will be added on top of the wage.
