DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and Baking Products:
Creating doughs and batters for various French breads (e.g., baguettes, brioche) and pastries, such as croissants, according to traditional recipes.
Recipe Management:
Understanding and executing established recipes.
Quality Control:
Ensuring products meet established standards for freshness and quality.
Inventory Management:
Ordering and monitoring supplies, as well as keeping detailed records related to production and inventory.
Hygiene and Sanitation:
Maintaining clean and organized workstations, equipment, and utensils.
Production Scheduling:
Creating schedules with management to determine the types and quantities of goods to produce.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
Being familiar with and maintaining professional baking equipment. Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Kitchen experience, preferable in a bakery Strong organizational skills Ability to take direction Strong time management, the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player Currently hold a Food Handler's Certificate Reliable transportation Weekend Availability
REQUIRED
Ability to lift 40-65 pounds throughout the day Must be able to stand for long periods of time Weekend Availability (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
