The Role We're looking for a dependable, early-rising baker to join our team. This is a morning, part-time position based out of our commissary kitchen in Amagansett. This role focuses on executing a small, consistent pastry program for our retail store. You will be responsible for baking and packaging a select menu of items daily. What You'll Be Doing

• Baking a daily menu of pies, hand pies, and cookies
• Packaging finished products for sale
• Managing oven performance (monitoring temperature, rotating trays, ensuring even bakes)
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Following recipes and production standards with consistency What We're Looking For
• Food Handler's Certificate preferred (not required); must be willing to complete certification within 45 days of hire. We will pay for course time and associated fees
• Early morning availability and reliability (7AM start)
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Basic baking experience preferred (home bakers welcome)
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• A calm, patient approach to baking What Makes a Great Fit
• You understand that great baking goes beyond timers. You use visual and sensory cues (golden edges, texture, doneness)
• You're comfortable managing ovens and adapting to hot spots or temperature variations
• You value patience and process, allowing products to properly bake, rest, and cool
