The ideal candidate understands and has worked with a wide range of doughs and pays close attention to detail and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods Work with pastry and doughs while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards Identify and correct issues during mixing, proofing, baking, or finishing Maintain clean, organized workstations and proper food handling standards Support all kitchen operations including prep, cleaning, dishwashing, and trash as needed What We're Looking For Prior professional bakery or pastry experience and training required Team-oriented, reliable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities NYC Food Protection Certificate required, or will be required to obtain within 2 weeks of hiring
